📝🐱🐮Household Policy Update: The Overnight Delivery

This morning, my male-human woke up to discover Miss Moo Moo Longtail underneath him.

He seemed surprised.

I was not.

Allow me to explain.

During the night, I had carried Miss Moo Moo Longtail to him personally. This was not random behaviour. It was a carefully considered household-management decision.

Miss Moo Moo Longtail is, after all, one of my trusted companions. She is soft, dependable and extremely good at remaining exactly where she has been placed. These are qualities I value highly.

At some point during the night, I decided that my male-human required additional supervision.

Humans are particularly vulnerable when asleep. They roll over, steal blankets, make strange noises and generally operate with very little awareness of their surroundings. Clearly, someone had to take responsibility.

So I assigned Miss Moo Moo Longtail to the night shift.

I delivered her to the bed myself and placed her in a suitable position near my male-human. The purpose was simple: comfort, protection and a gentle reminder that even while sleeping, he remains part of my household and therefore subject to my management.

What happened after that is entirely his responsibility.

If he somehow ended up sleeping on top of Miss Moo Moo Longtail, I can only conclude that he failed to follow proper overnight toy-awareness procedures.

Fortunately, Miss Moo Moo Longtail handled the situation with great professionalism.

She did not complain.

She did not leave her post.

She simply remained underneath him until morning.

Excellent staff behaviour.

My male-human may have thought he had simply found a toy in the bed.

I knew better.

It was a successful overnight deployment.

Yours, Mrs. Cotton 🐱🐾
