At last, the temperatures have dropped a little.

I have reviewed the situation from several important locations, including the sofa, the windowsill and the exact centre of the hallway, and I can confirm that household conditions are improving.

My humans may call it “cooler weather”. I call it a long-overdue correction by the Climate Department.

This means I can once again conduct my royal duties without melting dramatically into the furniture. Blankets are slowly returning to favour, sleeping positions have become more dignified, and sitting near a human is now pleasantly warm rather than a regrettable tactical error.

The household may relax.

I have the temperature under observation.

Yours, Mrs. Cotton 🐱🐾
